The Chair of the Security Council feels
honored to welcome you to the ITAM Model
United Nations in its 2005 Edition. Our
mission this year is to place the table
for you to enjoy a platform in which you
may express your ideas of cooperation, solidarity
and multilateralism.
We must not stop trying harder and harder
to improve our reality. Even though we are
dealing with a facsimile of the real world
we cannot decline on pursuing our ultimate
goal: making of this world a more habitable
place, where human rights, peace, security
and justice prevail.
May this model be a forum where you can
expose your ideas, display your anxieties
and reach agreements that bring us closer
to these goals.
