During the seminar, Dr. Iván S. Razo-Zapata will present part of his work in the field of smart (electricity) grids (SGs) as well as on the application of blockchain, artificial intelligence and business modelling in the electricity sector. He will present relevant findings during the research projects Scanergy and ecoSVN, which have been conducted in Belgium and Luxembourg respectively. Afterwards, he will briefly discuss the potential use of blockchain and digital platforms to improve climate finance to support adaptation actions in SGs. Finally, he will interact with the audience to analyse how such transformation may impact in the Mexican sector.
