Two research works from ITAM professor, Dr. José María Barrero, was recently quoted by the White House’s Council of Economic Advisers in The 2024 Economic Report of the President specifically in the following sections: The Benefits of Full Employment and The Year in Review and the Years Ahead.

Jose Maria Barrero, doctor in economy by Stanford University and professor of the Business Academic Department at ITAM, has developed a research line focused on the new work balance derived from the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The quoted works are on hybrid work schemes: the desire of workers for having this work scheme, the challenge these work schemes bring to companies and why has the demand for them increased since the pandemic ended, instead of decreasing.
