Ana Micaela Alterio, full time professor in the Department of Law at ITAM, was appointed member of the Advisory Board from the International Society of Public Laws (ICON-S). The news was revealed on april 13th through the official ICON-S Twitter account.

Micaela Alterio has a masters and doctorate in Advanced Studies in Human Rights from the Charles III University of Madrid. She studied law at the National University of Cuyo, in Mendoza, Argentina, a province in which she acted as Human Rights Coordinator until 2007. In The last couple of years, she has acted as co-president of ICON-S Mexican chapter (The International Society of Public Law), co-director of IberlCONnect.blog and part of the ALAS network.
